I wouldn't exactly say there is anything wrong with drinking. I myself do like to enjoy myself and get stupid if the occasion is right. Underage drinking is just one of those things that can go either way. I drank underage. I even went as far to find people to buy alcohol for me. But cancelling class to take students out drinking is rather dumb. I'd be a bit livid if I found out that shit like this is happening especially if I'm footing the bill for their education.

Buying for underage is ignorant, especially when you're supposed to be an idol for the kids, this can ruin the records for the kids if they were to be caught by the police. This "teacher" deserves his punishment for this.

Why doesn't this seem surprising in this day and age.

I wish my teacher bought me alcohol. I'd have probably listened more in class.

On topic - this is stupid, and in this day and age of child sex offenders etc.. It's a recipe for disaster.

If they are under 18, it's fucked. But if they aren't minors then it's okay
