Im running a 1/10 Slash 4x4 with Racers edge 8.4 volt 7 cell 5000mah battery, badland tires, RPM rear bumper/mud flaps and metal front a-arms.
Soon getting a 11.1 volt 3s 25c 5000mah lipo, cooling fan, NiMH/LiPo quick charger, and new suspension. Also a red ford raptor body if i can find one anywhere.

I used to be big into RC man went to a few races locally and on the road. I still have my cars and all that I had a 1/8 kyosho buggy and a 1/10 losi 4x4 SCT my losi was upgraded alot I had a tuning kit put into it and everything I had the expensive servo and electronics. I had thousands of dollars put into this as a 16 year old I had a nice setup however I have grown out of it as the hobby is a money pit maybe one day I will return I might take pictures of all my stuff to show you all I had done.

3s lipo man want motor you have? A 3s lipo will burn a stock slash motor I had a slash and bought a 3s lipo to get the extra power and man that just destroyed my motor real quick.

Stock Velineon VXL haha. We'll see what happens or maybe i'll get a 2s. I did research and the cooling fan helps a lot preventing the motor from overheating.
And yeah the hobby is a big money waster but its a lot of fun so i might as well enjoy it while i can. Perhaps sell everything when i outgrow it

Ya, I wouldn't do a 3s that motor will blow up a 2s will give you plenty of more power you will see a big difference putting a lipo in it getting rid of those nimh batteries, and ya that was my plan to sell all my stuff, but its not worth it when I won't even get back half of what I spent on both of my cars. I know I could sell my sct pretty easy with all I have done to it but it won't be for the price I want it to be. Might just keep it and wait and see if I want to get back into it. I have a small buggy that I drive outside and inside my house that is a 1/14th scale pretty fun makes me want to return, but I am in college so my money is pretty limited right now.
