Anyhow, I see people offering .pkg of the Onslaught DLC for Ghosts, and was wondering how this would work?
I assume it's for PS3, correct?
Also,
If someone were to download the DLC on PS3, it wouldn't work on the PS4, correct?

Yes the pkg is for ps3. you install it through install package files on your ps3
