It means you have been banned from Ghost servers but you can still play online with other games, Well that is what has happened to me I got banned 4 days ago. Console ban will ban you from PSN all together.

ohh really cid or device ??cuzz i think if u got cid u could still get like a private one so u could still play ghost

CID and Device is the same thing... It means your console ID/Device has been banned from Ghosts servers. This means you've go to get a new console ID to play Ghosts.

To be honest I don't know, but don't ask around NGU as Selling/Trading and anything related with Console ID's is prohibited.
