(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Some of you may have seen this app on the play store. Its called Brightest Flashlight free made by GoldenShore technologies LLC. This app has been stealing user data and selling it to the highest bidder. So far it has had over 1 million downloads. If this app is own your phone uninstall it immediately. It asks for a user GPS location and to read phone status/identity. No flashlight app needs access to that. The app automatically collects the user data even before the user has time to accept or decline the user agreement. The FTC said they reached an agreement with the developers to get this removed. Next time look carefully at what permissions these apps are requesting. Remember, uninstall it if you have this app.
