Delete your game data from xmb and delete the eboot from game folder then try again.

If that doesn't work,there is a patch 1.27 install that and try again.
I used to have that problem then i found a patch/pkg called bossgamer which had all patches from 1.06 to 1.26, installing that then 1.27 solved all freezing problems and game getting stuck problems.


What firmware are you on?
