(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Recent glitches and exploits have all led to the Los Santos Customs exploit. The method is simple, fast and reported to be a ban-worthy offence?

A simple, yet well established exploit that allowed you to sell your personal motorcycle repeatedly for up to 30k+ each time meant that some people had earned over 1 billion Grand Theft Auto Online dollars; more people abused it by even figuring a way to sell super cars such as the Bugatti Veyron (Adder) and some others too. We can note that the Grand Theft Auto Online economy in-game is now being rendered as useless.

With said exploits can come consequences and although I am guilty of abusing the glitch to make a couple million, at this given time, I shouldn't be worrying as there are concerned cases of large ban-waves in Grand Theft Auto Online exclusively on the Xbox 360 game console and nothing yet has been detected on the Playstation systems to do with this exploit.

The Rockstar support team stated on their website in response to the ban-waves:

"We're aware of the issue and until we can fix it, we'll ban anyone with a history of abusing this design flaw. It will ruin others' enjoyment by disbalancing the economy that's vital to the Online experience. We're in discussion with Microsoft, too, to escalate these bans from online privileges to user accounts as a statement against these antics. We don't expect any outrage from the law-abiding playerbase who haven't devalued others' items and hard-work with an exploit - these the customers we are proud to help."

The game is now un-balanced with SO many people making millions upon millions of in-game $ and although these accusations of everyone who has done it is getting banned is still unknown, I recommend y'all stay low unless you don't mind--

/Just giving you guys a heads up and hopefully nothing too serious will be done!

*Update*

After further research, people found exploiting could be moved to the 'Cheaters Pool'

What is a cheater pool? If your account is found to have participated in exploits you will be moved to the "cheaterpool" and will only be able to play with other cheaters. You will be banned from normal public games and will no longer ever be able to play with your friends or crew members. (Source: You must login or register to view this content.)

Well, what will happen for performing this unlimited money Los Santos Customs exploit and why? R* will penalize the users who have participated in this exploit, the reason being is because you're breaking ToS and literally stealing money from R*. For example, say one has duplicated 10 million online cash, this translates to $200 real life money. Rockstar simply wont let you get away with this! They are a business looking to protect their franchise! Source: You must login or register to view this content. It's understandable I suppose and in all honestly, I'll end up buying packs lol

I'd prefer it this way, due to the fact the the 'Cheaters' fun will be limited. Whilst the General gamers will be endless Smile

Good call Rockstar. Good call :y:

lol, I don't see his point... I mean is Rock* going to reimburse those players who lost stuff during the initial launch period. Normally, I'm all for giving a gaming company the benefit of a doubt at launch. In this case, they had the time to handle this (since the online and story-mode launched separately).

I figure I lost about 16-40 hours worth of money, stats, etc... In between my two missing characters. They can just pay me my hourly rate that I get paid at work Drack..

If Rock* is that considered with the "economy"; tank it (take a % out of everyone's bank accounts... Call it "taxes" ) .. excluding those who used real money to purchase in game money (only for that amount they purchased).

Needa Exploit game flaws when they don't care lads.
As for being banned you must do a ton before they would do that to your account.
Curious how badly this damages the economy.
