Good luck - if you are incredibly lucky you may get someone who can to talk you through it and help you learn to develop your own mods and menus.
But for the most part, they are idiots who treat 'newbies' as unworthy, and any offer of help usually is laced with the assumption that unless you are godlike and already know the score, they'll 'help' you feel unworthy and give you piecemeal bits of help and leave out the crucial bits of info which, without clues at the very least, leave their contributions to your learning to be borderline useless or a just a plain insult to you.
So rather than ask, in vain, take a look at the freely and generously released menu code (Mapin's Meenu or something like that), with it's supporting notes, and learn something about VB or VC+++ or take a similar approach with a GTALUA or LUA based menu base and mod scripts and see what you can come up with
Through effort, you get the bes rewards - and if you can manage it yourself without help, that's definately a badge of honour just for achieving what most give up on.
