But somtime ago there was a method to bypass this and nextgen users could obtain the returning player content. By logging into old gen with there acc details playing the prologue and the first mission... I done it my self and for others..
Recently i have tried the same method for a guy with no luck .. apparently it didn't work... could anyone help .. is there a new mthod has the old one got patched??

Other than that you mentioned, i don't know of any other NG platform workarounds to enable 'returner bonuses' other than, assuming you can't use a past-gen console for some reason, getting a new character/account created by someone with a past-gen console who can account mod (i.e. do a 'recovery service' the account, bring it up to (content, rp etc) to mirror what you have that's past-gen compatible in the past-gen form and you then create a new NG account and user on the XB1/PS4, start the ball rolling and then CT the past gen account that's been 'made up' to your new NG account.

Clearly, if you still have access to a past-gen console yourself, you could take advantage an RS or (with caution), use a modded OFW backup on PS3 to create a new user/account and do the modding yourself and then CT to NG console when done.

And that's where i bow out gracefully - before the CFW mob decide to nuke me from orbit for daring to mention OFW modding

Na all good im a modder mysefl with o ban rate so far.. i run ps4 fb and a modding one.. im teying to help a member out on my ps4 page in obtaining this feature .. but as he has no money like the rest of the people he wont get a modded acc ..

Found solution old glitch didn't work.. so on ps3 i gave it a 100% story mode completed then went to my ps4 logged into his account and boom .. returning player content... case closed ...
