When You Download Something Your Ping Will Be Too High, And For Playing Online On Ps3 You Need ALow Ping.

There is something called Ping and when you are downloading the Ping will increase. when playing online, you cant play with a high ping or else the server will automatically log you out because of the high Ping.
Hope you understood it If not try to google it

Use Free Download Manager and limit the download speed. Lower it until your ping on the PS3 is acceptable.
