1st: Is there some sort of signal booster or secondary router sort of system that like can increase the strength down here?

2nd: Is there anything out there in the world that is like a "second router" that I can have downstairs and plug an ethernet cable into? I have the xbox slim but I might get an xbox that uses an ethernet or potentially build a lag switch (that may make people want to help me less, so if it does for you, disregard that statement). So yeah, it isn't really worth it buying a super long ethernet cable (it'd be expensive and it would run all the way through my house). Any wierd "router extender" I can move around and plug into?

Thanks.

if you have a second router whats the model for it there are some third party firmwares out there that could do the job for you even the stock firmware may support some options. Find out what the model is and i will let you know if i can help

also the model of the first router would be good aswell.
