(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i seem to lose my internet connection very often, then i will have to disable my lan card and re enable, never had this problem with my same computer running xp

Well I've had similar issues, but it came down to the modem and the router both needing a hard reset (30 seconds on the reset button) and that seemed to fix the disconnecting issues.

Another option could be to make sure you aren't using drivers that microsoft decided to use when you first installed 7 or w.e. The generic drivers suck, so I'd make sure to get the drivers straight from who ever makes the nic card

What is your password encryped with?
It could be driver problems with the encryption.
That happened to my parents' computer.

If you went from XP to Windows 7 I think it might be a hardware error because your computer might not be able to handle windows 7 fully as it's too much for your computer
