Here's a quick (and hopefully easy) Tutorial on how to set up a free domain with free hosting.

1. Go to You must login or register to view this content. and register a free domain. When it asks you to activate it, proceed to step 2.

2. Go to You must login or register to view this content. and sign up for free hosting

3. Return to You must login or register to view this content. and choose the first option on the activation step. Put these as your nameservers.

ns01.000webhost.com
ns02.000webhost.com

4. Now, you have to wait for the nameservers and the domain to be linked. This can take up to 48 hours, so bookmark this thread and go do something else. :p

5. Download the appropriate version of FileZilla for your OS You must login or register to view this content.

6. Go to You must login or register to view this content. and find your domain, and click go to cPanel. Click account details and scroll down to FTP Upload Details. Start FileZilla with these details.(NOTE: The password is the same as your 000webhost password)

7. Upload any desired files to your public_html folder in FileZilla.

It might send an email, but I'm not sure. I just went to my domain in my browser and it had the default page for 000webhost rather than co.cc.

I haven't seen that guide before, but it uses the crappy built in FTP of 000webhost. This uses FileZilla which is much better and is aimed at making your own personal website, not making a place to put your own screensnapr images.
