I went to savevid to get a youtube video but now it asks you to download an app. so i did and got my video. once i re-opened my firefox my homepage was searchqu.com. i uninstalled the savevid app , and nothing. then i googled my ass of for literally 47 minutes and reading thru 80 so odd pages and all basically had the same fix. to download hijackthis.exe and take off anything with searchqu , and to run malwarebytes on safe mode . DONE AND DONE. still searchqu as homepage. went into firefox options and put default as google. restarted and still searchqu. then search on youtube and all i found where these directions
