A paid domain: I don't know how much I can stress this. Free domains may be free but they are not appealing and just push people away from your site immediately by saying you put in money into making this site great.

Forum Software: This is very necessary. Don't use nulled forum software though. as there is no security at all. Choose either legit Invision Power Board or legit vBulletin. If you cannot afford those use free software such as Mybb or phpboard.

SEO(Search Engine Optimization): Very critical to build a member base. When people search they will be able to find your site easier.

Forum look: This is very crucial. The first impressions of a site mean allot to people. So make sure you have a custom theme that appeals to your audience. Make sure to have a logo that shows who you are.

Members: There are certain thongs about members that need to be known. Don't make everyone staff. That is what makes allot of forums fail. Allot of staff is unappealing and makes everyone think only staff go on the site. Also, any members you acquire on the site make sure they are active and post every once in awhile.

Nulled and Legit versions of these software are still vulnerable. Unless the nullifier is a complete idiot and doesn't know what he's doing then just don't use it. As long as you stick with good nulls like DGT or FS, you will be fine. VeitvBB is the worset nulls I've ever seen.

most of this someone making a site would know already and its kinda plain this dont bring in traffic to a domain which is what you want the most what you said is obvious hosting is one big key factor that will turn ppl around or the fact the site loads slow with no reason that makes me leave almost right away not the look ,dont judge a book by its cover :happycry:
