(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Seeing as though I've heard many mixed opinions about the "new" Facebook layout
or whatever this past week and a half or so,
I can't help but think an era of a new social networking site is about to
usher in. In my opinion, I use Facebook, but I think it's a health concern. Mentally
and psychologically. Granted, there's always going to be some site that people will
flock to in order to give a discerning story about what
happened to them that day or just to talk. Whether it be Facebook or Google+, there
will be something for people to turn to.
But, with so many displeased about the site now, (and keep in
mind these are just my simple observations and nothing more) I feel as though Google+ will
take the reigns as leading social-network. Hell, people I see on Facebook post about how they dislike Facebook now.

Google+ is basically Facebook. From posting on a "wall", to even a liking system that Google's iteration is referred to as "+1". There's no getting around the aspect that
Google+ and Facebook are one in the same idea. But, there is a subtle quality that Facebook maybe once had, but now relinquished. Simplicity.

Google is known for its simplicity. Examples: Google Chrome. Android (Possibly). Gmail. Being simple is what it does best. Facebook is losing its power (in my opinion)
because it is trying to constantly incorporate new features (gimmicks) to keep the site "fresh" and feeling "like new". Simply giving the people something new to play
around with until they decide its time to change again. I personally don't see this working out much longer. People will become annoyed and disinterested in the site
and Facebook will lose its social value. It's because we're humans. We innately become bored easily if something isn't sufficing.

Google+ on the other hand, more than likely will not try to add new features on a regular basis in an attempt to be something that it thinks its users want. Google is equivalent to cereal. Yeah, the cereal type may change, but the basic formula will stay the same. Bowl, spoon, cereal, and milk. Google (and Google+) yes, will change to some extent. But it will retain all the basic and enjoyable qualities that it has. Ease of use, user-friendly, appealing to the eye (personal opinion),
simplicity, and incorporation. Think of incorporation as this way.
New things are being made constantly that incorporate Facebook in some shape or form. If you're an extremist and
need Facebook in every aspect of your life, then more than likely you have to buy something new that gives you access to its features.
Google+ however, is incorporated to the things you already have.
Gmail, Android phones and tablets, etc, etc. Chances are if you have access to a computer and internet, you're using Google or Bing as your search engine.
Google+ is already incorporated to your Google account and is basically just, simple.

Like I said earlier, there is always going to be some sort of site that appeals to the masses and reaps all of the attention.
I personally will use Facebook for the time being, and keep my Google+ steadily active and reserved until more join and it becomes more popular.
If you don't like either, then I don't know what to say.
In that case there's always Myspace...

indeed. even if G+ isn't as successful as it is hoped to be, yes it will be a loss as far as the company is concerned, but its not going to kill them. It will just be like, "Remember when Google tried to do social-networking?" its not going to ruin the company is what i mean by that

I agree with this 100%. I am getting tired of all the updates, when it was the same people knew how it worked and enjoyed it more, with all the new implemented crap, yes crap, it seems like more and more of my friends are getting off and staying off.

Google+ is pretty lonely for me thus far, still waiting for more people to join.

Love their interface.
