since few month ago i change my internet .. from a phone line to a wireless router that i can take anywhere and plug it and have internet

before with the phone line internet my ping was @ around 40 and my connection while playing ps3 was good specially in Mw2 ,Mw3 when i play with people from my country i get a 4 bars internet connection but now with the wireless internet my ping is between 70-80 and when i play with people from my country i get a 1 bar connection which is the red 1 and sometimes i always lag i called my internet service provider they told me for online gaming i need a low ping ... i asked them if they could do anything to make the ping low they said they cant bla bla bla they want to help but .... they told me u could go for some expert in internet routers ... n he can take ur ping low i wanna no how to do it ...

they told me also i need atlease 2.00mbps upload speed
n my upload speed is perfect same as my download speed

Get better internet is easiest.
Or get a different and better router.

i had a contract for 1 year so i cant change it neither the router cause its the company service provider router

Sometimes its the router dude, the new one that my ISP provided me sucked terribly hard, so i switched to my old one and i can play with almost 60-70 ping, its good.

Which isp are you with ?. Im with sky and i get 24 ping i used to get 40 but i rang them and asked them to put me on gmer profile most isp's have one you just need to speak to someone who knows what they are doing. Also do you have a static ip on your ps3 if so make sure its in your routers dmz that should help with connection and lag ping will just make people die quicker its just the time it takes for your shots to be registerd with the mw3 server and then get sent back so the lower the better.

Restart your router and modem and it will be faster :y:.

I'v had 0 ping before. The speeds wasn't the best though.

Short answer you can't
Long answer go wired and ping to a server near you.
Ping is a not a set number on other words it changes all the time. You need to do ping tests like 1000s of times to get a rough idea of the ping range you're going to get.
Also if your gaming online ping to a server that about 1000 miles or more away from you.

Do a ping test and see what the results are.
One thing i can say is ditch the wireless it should improve.

Getting better internet is next to impossible to do due to how the net works.

IF he owned the line or could own it direct to the users he wanted to connect to you would be right. But sadly the net is not like that. Traffic gets routed all around the place.

Also most ISPs are not setup to cope with online gaming.
