(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); the famous bit torrent tracker known as demonoid has had it's tracker working up and running once again. Just over 5 months ago, the private tracker was Kicked off via a DDoS attack (distrubuted denial of service). From then onwards authorities had seized equipment which kept the site up and running. However now that the server has been moved to possibly china, the tracker lives once again.

The picture below indicates that the trackers are up and running. However it may take a while for the actual site to come back alive fully once again.

“You know how it goes with Demonoid. It might take a while but it will come back," Said one of the tech admins at demonoid.

Would you be returning to demonoid? Or have you replaced demonoid with a 'better' tracker?

Thank you for the information. I can't believe TPB is still up but Demonoid was taken down...

I figured they'd go after TPB before Demonoid myself. I guess it just worked itself out that way since there was all of that politicking nonsense going on.

In Flames Much?
You are trying to stop a flood it won't work.
Changing your model to customer needs now is going to stop people from turning into pirates.

Hope the service comes back.

They went after demonoid I figure because as TPB have said publicly, even if they did go to jail, because all the servers are scattered across the globe + you got servers which are air based. It will be almost impossible to stop TPB Virtually.
