I have an iphone 4 i traded that was purchased from sprint but is under no contract. I been using it but unfortunatly it doesent have
any internet unless im hooked up on a free Wi-Fi place....

I jailbroke it so it has MyWi but thats to make my iphone a hotspot. I want my phone to host its own Wi-Fi for itself so it can go online were ever i am if possible...
I just need it to go online even when im at school or anywere else....

lol no... its not possible. i wish though because id be 1st to have my OWN internet service if it was possible lol... which is exactly what it would be if it was possible... owell... question answered... MODS please close

Not possible !

Mywi uses 3g to make a hotspot. So if you were on your own wifi network and then turned on Mywi it would work because its getting data, but that would be pointless. So in conclusion you need another wifi network or 3g to make a hotspot. Hope this helps
