(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU members,

I was wondering if any of you wonderful, god-like, amazing, and sexy beings of life know how to fix this lil' problems o' mine.

I have an iPhone 5 (iOS 6.1.2), jailbroken with evasi0n's newest jailbreak program for iPhone/iPad devices running on iOS 6.1.2.

I have had my iPhone 5 jailbroken since the moment evasi0n released their wonderful program to for public usage, but just now have had many problems with my jailbroke iDevice.

---Issue #1---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My battery icon/battery percentage icon will display at the same percentage ALL THE TIME!!! (well... you know... until it DIES!!!!! XD)

---Issue #2---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My iPhone 5 randomly crashes (mostly on cydia & cydia apps).

---Issue #3---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Evasi0n's newest program won't allow me to re-jailbreak my iOS Version 6.1.2 iPhone 5! An error message pops up on the program when I plug in my iPhone saying something along the lines of, "Your device's iOS version is not able to be jailbroken."

WTF...

MY iOS is 6.1.2! EVASI0N'S NEWEST PROGRAM SUPPORTS THIS iOS 6.1.2!!!! AGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks in advance to anyone that offers some helpful advice on how to resolve my iProblem.

-Chris Parker

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

P.S.

I have my SHSH Blobs saved since I bought my iPhone 5, but I'm almost sure you can't restore SHSH Blobs on A5 Chip devices (such as my iPhone 5).

Keep it MeLLo
Issue 1 - Try turning the battery % off then back on again.. Settings - General - Usage..

Issue 2 - Cydia can crash sometimes.. imo it never does it for me on my iPhone 4 and iPad Mini

Issue 3 - Are you trying to Jailbreak while already Jailbroken.. thats why you will be getting that message

and SHSH blobs mean nothing for iPhone 5 as there is nothing you can do with them

Still having issues with the battery after switch off/back on. And it crashes everywhere now that I think about it... it just crashed in the settings menu after changing battery percentage options. Cydia/ evasi0n's jailbreak has always ran smoothly for me. I don't know why it's just now having these bugs. I have also tried uninstalling all my cydia apps, but I still haven't had any luck after doing that.

The crashing has to do with the cydia tweaks you are running as well as the jailbreak in general. With a jailbroken Idevice system memory is constantly used for tweaks and themes running in the background which by itself is a nuisance. Now add in the fact that closing apps barley restores the system memory it used, meaning you always have less system memory with each app opened. That's just how the jailbreak runs. There's nothing that can really be done about it. If it makes you that mad get rid of it. I have learned to just live with it.

Aye Tupac! Long time no see (although I saw Biggie at da mall yesterday), lol. Anyway, I've updated everything but still no luck. And this battery issue is really annoying because I have no idea when my phone is going to die. Any other advice will be awesome.

Still no luck. The battery problem is my main concern. Any other advice?

Did you try to uninstall and then reinstall the software?

Redsn0w's Just Boot option doesn't work with the iPhone 5.

And Grim, if I restore my iPhone 5, t will upgrade me to iOS 6.1.3, thus I'll lose my jailbreak...
