(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); sup guys I have a iphone 4 on 6.1.2 on evasi0n I had some pretty awosome tweaks and all that jazz but anywayes I put my iphone in my pocket and later whean I pulled my iphone out of my pocket and tred turning it on it stayed on a black sceen it didnt light up a black screen it completely was turned of plus my home button was broken so my freinds told me to press home and power I could not because my iphones home button was broken like I said so I hooked it up to itunes with my power cable it didnt show up on itunes at all I thouth it was in DFU mode but i guess its not wheanI plugged it in my iphone booted up to the apple logo then shut off right away I tryed it again and it did the same thing so please if anybuddy can help me out here please reply or pm thx.

No he is not, there was a method somewhere, but i can't remember, try googling your broken button problem.

When powering on your iPhone hold the plus button. If your iPhone boots up normally when doing this you have installed a broken/unsupported tweak. You then can go into Cydia and remove it.

My brother had the same exact problem after he also Jailbroke his iPhone 4, he took it to the store and the staff there had told him that the his phone was previously wet. Now he's stuck with his iPhone 4 and the only way he can turn it on is by pressing the lock button about several hundred times. Sorry, but it sound like you have a similar problem and it's not Apples concern because you Jailbroke your phone and they don't cover for that. Hope this helped :p

If you are in the same position as this guy, and you actually still have warranty on you iPhone then you aren't screwed at all!
Just open the back of the iPhone, take some bleach and tap it on the 3 water damage sticker which are in the USB port, Headphone jack, and one is on the motherboard its a triangular one. If your phone wasn't thoroughly water damaged then the triangle one should stay white. You do have to open the phone because there is like a glass or transparent film that covers it from the out side. But seriously one lil tap of that bleach and your good. Then just take it to genius bar say that its acting up and pretend its a hardware issue if the question you a lot (which they wont). Just act retarded and not tech savvy at all lol. and you should get a new phone.



you are some what screwed if you do not have that year warranty. If you don't have that warranty then your best bet is to open the whole phone and replace the home button and get that shit into DFU and restore. Sadly you wont be able to jailbreak considering there are no use of SHSH blobs atm. so yea bud...



I cant recall it either, but im pretty sure the phone was to be working in order to get that phone in DFU without the home button.

It's cool guys thx I have a jailbroken ps3 so I really don't care for it as much I will just get it fixed I found a place that fixes iPhones cheaper than apple they have 5 stars in a half so yeah.
