No, i understand the upgrade. But like, i remember when the ipod 2g could allow certains programs to run like turn it into an android device.

Depends for what you want it, iPod Touch 5G is better if you going to play alot of games and record videos but if you just want to hear music and watch videos go with the iPod Touch 4G.
