On a serious note, the 4S since you can get it cheaper and there isn't much difference from the 4S to the 5 except the screen and the price tag.

4S. The only difference between the two is that 5 has a longer screen and slightly beter specs. Plus, the 4S is a lot cheaper.

Darth and Boosters pretty much nailed it. There's no really difference at all except for the price and longer screen.

If you're going for a cheap price definitely the iPhone 4s, it's got the same features as the iPhone 5, including Siri. But if you're after slightly better performance and design then the iPhone 5 is what you want. Overall I recommend the iPhone 4s, because there's not much difference at all.
