It installed and said it worked so I turned my ipod off and it wouldnt boot. It booted fine with redsn0w. So then I found that they have a untether tool, I downloaded it. And I was gonna restore using itunes. So either I did and it didnt work and put it in dfu mode, or it just shut it off. Or I messed around with redsn0w and either got it in dfu mode or just had it off. I cant quite remember... But long story short my ipod wont boot I used rubbing alcohol to fix the home button it worked and it went into dfu mode, but... it wouldnt boot with redsn0w. Nothing would work. And when I would boot it with redsn0w it would get stuck on the pineapple logo. So I got it back in dfu mode. And I did try to restore with itunes and it didnt work. And it went out of dfu mode at one point and wont work. I used the rubbing alcohol again... It worked then I did something else (I cant remember what...) Now it wont work it looks like its in dfu but its not reconized by my pc. So I used rubbing alcohol again... And it didnt work... So... My pc wont reconize it. It looks like its back in dfu but it wont work. I dont know if my home button works or not again but since I cant seem to get it into dfu mode (if its not already) but it wont work. Its just a black screen now. I dont know what to do. Whats wrong with it? I got it december of 2010 btw.

You can try tinyumbrella to kick the ipod into recovery to try and restore with itunes...

Note: If you get that far and are restoring with itunes be sure to close tinyumbrella or else you'll get a 3194 error.

I tried but I think tinyumbrella was open... My problem is that it's not recognized by my pc again. Nothing detects it

So... I left it for a couple more days... And it's back in dfu... I'm currently making a custom ispw for ios 6.13. I'm not sure if it will downgrade. But I'll try with pwned dfu In redsn0w

I'm pretty sure that will work. Just stitch your shsh blobs in an ipsw and downgrade. Then if you want upgrade back to 6.1.6 and re-jailbreak.

So my ipod works again. But what I did was used ifaith to put it In pwned dfu. Then I restored it with itunes on the same ios version cause ios 6.1.3 wouldn't work.
