This is my first experience jailbreaking an apple device and has been fairly simple so far. My problem is that when I am texting someone via iMessage and they are not connected to the internet (sending as SMS) I cannot see their emojis, but mine are always seen. The emojis I see appear like this: "X=^". I had this problem when I was talking to a friend on an older iOS but the person I am currently talking to is on iOS 7.1.1 although I am jailbroken and the other person is not. What could be causing this, and is there a way to fix it?

Note: If we are both connected to the internet (sending as normal iMessage) the emojis can be seen.

The best thing to do, is to restore your iPhone then jailbrake it again.

reinstall Emoji - if i dont work try it what the guy above said
