For a while I was exporting videos as .WMV files but I realised they were bad quality, even when I played them in windows media player. Now I export them as DVD files and when I play them in windows media player, it is superb HD quality But.....


When I uploaded it to youtube, terrible quality again. And it tokk 1 hour to uplaod! :confused:

For exaple:

My .WMV format video (bad quality anyway)

The easycap is not a great capture card, you're not going to get great quality from it. Also, youtube destroys all videos, you must prepare yourself for that.

Easycap is actually a really good capture card for the price if you can get the quality right.

add &fmt=18 onto the end of your video link. or &fmt=35

what does that do?

&fmt=18 makes the video 480p and &fmt=35 makes the video 720p. it works sometimes.

Well. Easycap is actually real good if you figure out how to use it. look at mine. I use an easycap. watch in 720p if you can... or click the video to go straight to it so you can watch it bigger or something.
