Well simply once you have your suitable gameplay you can open up the video and watch it and do your commentary while recording on your computer with something such as a webcam, mic etc. Then save the audio and place it onto your gameplay in a program such as Sony Vegas and render it and upload.

Wa-la your commentary, remember to watch the final thing before you upload and also remember to either take out or dim down to game's sound when you edit and put yours in, so people can clearly hear you.

iMovie has a voiceover option that i use

the easiest way is download a program called audacity

the only problem with audacity is you still have to import it into the movie. but thats my secondary option.
