I searched youtube for a VERY LONG time and FINALLY found a PERFECT way where you Downgrade your HD clip to SD, but when you are down editing your montage or clip, you can simply upgrade it back to HD. There is another way to watch/edit your clips, but you cannot do whole clips.

It's called Dynamic Ram Preview. Check out my stickied topic about it.
