Good composition idea but it needs loads more effects, and lighting, and I'm not sure on the Red and Green together. Also, try not stretch the stock image you're using, and don't use borders

Magenta, Purple, Violet, something along those lines.

Think i'm going to try it in colour again and do a purple eye like you suggested Cas

Yeah the colouring is better, but the quality seems to have got worse, try making the eye smaller so it fits within the bounds of the canvas and add some effects. It's quite a tricky stock to make a sig out of tbh.
