and for some reason i can't make borders with my photoshop 3.0 (it's my school's old photoshop they gave all those people who don't take media arts :( ) so it's really bad :O

You made your render seem too thin and there are not enough effects. Looks like just a couple brushes and a light source. If you want to add a border go into paint and add one. Also the text doesn't really match and is cut off a bit. Not your best 6/10

The render is badly transformed , the brushes with the lowered opacity above the render is a bad idea , brush color choice is bad , you could add a c4d behind the trooper , that's it 7/10
EDIT : add a border too lol

yeh ur render is pretty blurry and seems stretched to me and i think u need more detail
any1 can make a border u can even just brush one on :P
