Post: Sony Vegas Problem.. help?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Im trying to render a 3:50 video in Vegas 9 as .wmv but it crashes at random times. Sometimes it says an unknown error with loads of numbers, or others "The system is low on memory. You may be able to reduce the memory usage by closing other applications" But nothing else is open, I usually just leave it until its finished rendering. Ive never had a problem before rendering longer videos. I initially thought the problem was at the part it was crashing I had sped up a clip. So I slowed it back down to its originall size. But it made no difference. My computer has: 4.00 GB RAM & 2.10GHz and 238GB Hard drive memory left. So I dont see what the problem is. I thought uninstalling Vegas from my laptop then re-installing it would help, but still the same. Ive looked on Google and Youtube at videos. Some tell me to go into Preferences and put Dynamic RAM to 0 and that thats helped others. Tried that, not worked. Tried a different file format, still wont work. Keeps crashing still! :( Not a clue what to do :( In major need of Help, please.

Here is the numbers error anyone know what it means:

Ive tried that. Put it to 0 and still getting the same result.
Ive thought about un stalling and re installing, but would I lose my edited stuff and need to start all over again if I did?

you should be able to save your unfinished project. have you installed anything new recently? if not it's just one of those strange things that can't be explained and you may have to start all over. are you using a legit version of vegas (i dont care if you're a pirate or not arrrgh) if not try getting a different version. if it's legit then, you're gonna have to re-edit and hope it works next time.
