They look good but too dark and plain effects. Make them smoother and lighter.

I like to use 400x150 because it gives you more space to work with and show your skill also it looks better

Oooh, that seems kinda big to me, I thought even these were a little big and they are 350 X 100 I'm pretty sure. I'll try one 400 X 150 and see how I like it.
