second would be hot if the sprite wasn't so ungodly sharp
golden rule: leave sprites alone. don't sharpen, blur, resize, ect.

Yeah they look to plain.
More effects would give it more depth or even just changing the background a bit.

Chri5, you're under the faulty impression that more effects = better tags. That first tag has pretty good depth already, I just did a bad job with the black lines, and could've textured the background a bit better.

Also, tsWan, I'll have to remember that.
