At 30 seconds there is this zooming in thing and I would like to know how to do just that not all the other INSANE stuff :p

Mostly After Effects. I don't know what zooming in thing your on about but anyways, the cross-hair can easily be designed then he's done a sort of pan crop thing in after effects. Also at 0:49 he used it again but on a freeze frame. He masked the guy with the pen tool (i'm guessing) and changed the layer mode. As for the tech things around him you can find out how to do that from Andrew Kramer and his HUD tutorial. Hope this helps.

I'm not claiming to be the best editor out there, but I have some skills... I think. 
On the optic trailer, a lot of that was done in AE.... For the zoom, you can use sony Vegas' pan tool and key frame what you're trying to zoom in.
The triangle effect is motion graphics which they tied to a null object and key frame the null object to move in a particular pattern.
Supernova tage is excellent. They use AE effects as well. Some motion graphics as well lens flares... They color corrected a lot of the footage to give it a grungy feel. Additionally the editor used, very effectively, time re-mapping. Having the video speed up and slow down at just the right spots.
Great editing. It takes a lot of time and effort.
