To me seems kind of low quality and abit grainy could be my eyes lol and if you going to have a border i would say thin it down.

Thanks for the tip the next vert sig i do with a border will be thinner!
As for the grainy effect it was done to grunge up the whiteness in the original photo (didn't mean for the grain to stand out that much tho) Because i have always loved grunge effects.

This is only my second time ever using a stock its a little more difficult to me.

Well just keep at it a check some tuts out and you'll pic a few things up.
