Wtf is psd? I don't even use photoshop or anything but, PSD?

PSD, or .psd as it's properly called, is a file format exclusive to Adobe Photoshop.

PSD stands for Photoshop document.

The reason that this user has posted .psd files is because people who wish to learn from the techniques used in them, can do so.

When a .psd file is saved, all of the layers and settings are saved with it. So when you download these above files, you can hide layers, see effects that have been done and so on and so forth.

Hope this clears up what a psd is for you.
