(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was thinking about getting an Hauppauge HD PVR but then I saw BlackMagic Intensity Pro. Which one is better?

As the Hauppauge HD PVR is more popular than the BlackMagic Intensity Pro I would assume that the HD PVR is better.

Keep in mind that the black magic is a card that will need to be installed in to your PC. So if you don't mind doing that then it takes an HDMI. If you don't want to take your PC shell off then I would go with the Hauppauge. Thats what I did. Love the HDPVR! If you want to check quality difference look at my youtube channel beerman1065. I think patastinky uses a balck majic so check out some of his videos.

Can I play in HD while using the HD PVR?

oh hai mark
Exactly what batman said. The only difference is that the HD PVR is a device, and the BMiP is a card that you install in your pc, and that you can play in 1080P(BMiP) not in 1080i(PVR) witch is basically the same thing.
And yes, you CAN play in HD while recording.
I did not buy the BMiP and got the PVR instead because I got a mac and, yeah.
But if you are actually that kind of guy who has no problem with installing shit in your pc and raging, get the BMiP, I recomand you the PVR tho.
Your choice.

IM A AWESOME
HD PVR Is One Of The Best And The Most Popular CC In The Gaming Community Besides The Dazzle But Go With The HD PVR It Runs Smooth And The Quality Is Nice And If You Got Sony Vegas You Can Just Edit The Videos In Their Then Upload Its Really Good But You Need To Keep It On While NOT Recording Other Wise You Get A Black Screen
