(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I bought an Easycap a while back and haven't been able to get the correct settings on it. I have had it about a few months now and I recently decided I wanted to get it up and running. So I thought you would be the guys to ask for the setting.

Okay, I have the pinnacles studio cd which came with the easycap but I am using windows 7, therefore it doesn't work. So I downloaded some simple (free) software to record from (Debut Video Capture Software). If you think I should be using something else, then please note in a reply. But I'm not going to pay for any software, so include a torrent link or a link to the free version of the software.

When I record the video from mw2 and play it back on the computer. Their are stripes running up and down the video and also their is a slight lag and their is also a massive lag in the sound. The sound also is extremely loud and high pitch, which covers the sound of the shooting etc.

All Im after are some setting which will make the easycap good enough quality and without the sound problems and the video lags.

ok to record with via your pc try using AMCap. no need to play through a tiny screen.

and for the lag of sound. try using splitters if your not.

and for good quality settings i recomend. a original gold plated sony S-Video cable with these settings is this video

Are you using splitters? You need to split the audio or else it will lag. if your looking for quality picture, use S-Video or component cables. Here are some nice settings:
