Recently, I decided I wanted to venture out into video game reviews, so I need something to help me capture. I'd like to record in HD but at a bit of a budget.
I might as well list what I'm using, in hopes it'll narrow down what I need.
I'll be using:
-27" iMac quad core
-32" HDTV
-Ps3 and an Xbox360
-10" aspire one netbook

Now, Help me choose a capture card!
I heard good things about a Dazzle DVC 100, but if there's better out there, let me know

$100 is my budget right now, because I don't know how the reviews will take off and I don't want to piss away money.
And my computer and my TV are essentially side by side

ok so i was going to recomend the pvr as it is close to ur actully pc which is beast. a laptop cant run that, but for 100$ maybe buy the dazzle and download song vegas if you dont have it, to render it and make it better quality.

but if your budget can stretch a extra 50$

You must login or register to view this content.

that is good, records HD i belive and is very portable.

but you are going to need ps3 composites and xbox too

You could also use EasyCap. Under $50 and ok quality. 720p

In my man cave
Dazzle is the best choices out of all of them. The rest either have bad quality or aren't compatible with most computer's. There is also this other one I would NOT recommend getting, it's called EasyCAP. It alway's say's not responding constantly, and I have a fast computer so it's just not normal. Anyway I would choose Dazzle for it's high quality and smooth recording.

Get a used HDPVR, or a Black magic Intensity Pro ( check compatibility) , both record HD, and great quality, intensity pro is a bit better quality, but may not be compatable with your computer as it is internal and is a bit more expensive i believe.

Whatever you do, do not get a dazzle or an EasyCAP.
