The left part looks really good, but try using some C4D's or brushes on the right, its kind of empty. The glowing spiral doesn't really match the sig, but its ok.

I really like the crystal effect on the left.

Use the pen tool, draw the lines and put a glow on it.

Then, take the eraser tool, at 100%, and erase the parts you want to go behind.
