Ok, take this as CnC.

As your first sig in a couple of years the work is at least at novice standard. First you need to get a focal point for your sig, for the first sig it would be the Skull. You also need to work on lighting and making your signature more clear and neater, because at the moment its a bit all over the place.

Meh. He said what I would have said. Just look at some tutorials to refresh and update your knowledge of the program.

Text looks slapped on
The whole thing looks crowded (It's hard to concentrate on the focal)
The render doesn't blend in with the BG
Try to restrict from typing skull on planetrenders.net
Its hard not to get a cheap outcome

I made these two last night and today, trying to blend more and whatnot... text still looks slapped on, any tips or tutorials you know off hand to help me with that?

Honestly...
first is good.
Others are... similar and quite bland. Try adding depth.


Try changing up your CnCs

Thanks for input, what do you think about the last two sigs.. a few posts down?

The 5th one ( counting all in the thread ) is the best IMO, but it's too dark. The 4th has too much negative space.

Ummm the first has a definite lack of depth* and is pretty empty

Second is somewhat deep and has good effects, text is bad though...

*It looks like the sig has 2 levels BG and render... try blending multiple levels...

Maybe you would be better in backgrounds. :y:
