Post: Easycap/Ulead Help
12-30-2010, 01:59 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I just got my Easycap, which came with the Ulead VideoStudio. I installed everything it told me to, and then I plugged my xbox cords into the easycap, and the easycap into my computer, and Ulead is saying that there is no device found. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,
Dr Dangles78

So I just downloaded new drivers, and it says that "Driver is not intended for this platform", and it doesn't install. Any help?

Ummm Windows XP, and Yeah, but I'll try restarting my computer again.

OK I just restarted my computer again, and it says that no device is detected, there may be no video capture drivers installed.

I use EasyCap with Windows XP and i had trouble with drivers when i first got mine. Try doing this:

1- Un-install all EasyCap drivers
2- Restart PC/Laptop
3- Install drivers from Disk Only (I tried downloading drivers but failed everytime) (Also make sure your EasyCap is un-plugged)
4- After drivers have been installed plug your PS3/XBox wires into EasyCap then plug EasyCap directly into a USB port.
5- DO NOT press anything whilst EasyCap is installing drivers until you get prompted to click continue installing drivers
6- After everything is completely installed and you get a message saying device is ready, unplug the EasyCap and restart PC/Laptop.
7- After restart plug EasyCap back in PC/Laptop then open uLead.

This is how i got mine to work. If this still doesn't work for you, click You must login or register to view this content. and send this guy a private message about your situation.

Hope this helped Claps

Ok so I got up to step 4, and when I plug my xbox cords into the easycap, and the easycap into the computer, nothing happens at all.

Are you sure you un-installed all drivers including the 1s you downloaded?
