(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I post this tutorial because I had tons of problems editing .m2ts files with Windows live Movie Maker.

All of the things posted on this tutorial are free (Exept for the HD Pvr)

1. You need to have the software that comes with the HD pvr (Total Media Extreme) and capture your video as usual IN .M2TS FILES
You must login or register to view this content.

2. You need to download a free software called iWisoft Free Video Converter. You must login or register to view this content.

You must login or register to view this content.

3. You need to change the .m2ts files into .wmv HD files with the converter

You must login or register to view this content.

4. Now you can upload them to windows live movie maker and edit them like you would normally do.

I hope this helps and if you need more informations feel free to ask!

Don't Fear the Repear
This goes for any video file. If it doesn't load on your editing program then you have to convert it to a different file type that your editing program supports such as .wmv. My favorite video converter is called Total Video Converter - You must login or register to view this content.
If you see the file type isn't supported in your converter, then google the file type, and look for a program that supports it.

Yes but by experience I can say that the .wmv files takes less space and have better quality than other video files. Total video converter isn't free so iWisoft may be better because it is free. Do you know any format that is better than .wmv I tried alot but if you know one it will be cool!
