Two questions:
Would a dazzle 3-5 years old (its still working) be able to record my gameplay, would I get a higher quality out of a newer one or will this dazzle work fine?

Do I need the software - pinnacle studio quick start and pinnacle instant dvd recorder - to be able to use the dazzle to record the gameplay? If I do where can I get these? I'm okay with buying them but I'm also okay with downloading/torrenting them if thats really what it takes.
