(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys so I always see all of these montages with awesome syncing, that just goes perfectly. I would like to do some stuff like this, but I suck at editing. Can anyone give me some tips on syncing my shots with the music? Or some music that's easy to sync with?

I'm using iMovie '11.

There's a ton of music out there, just youtube a bunch of music, or a bunch of montages with music you like and try to find out what music it is by reading comments, description, credits, etc.

This is a good idea, and I recommend you do it with some songs that have a lot of beats. Put the music on Imovie on a track or whatever and place Markers at every interval there's epic music or w/e. Then Adjust the shots to follow it. With Sony Vegas its easy I've used Imovie but not that extensively to remember what everything was called. I remember you can split clips under edit or something at w/e time the play head is at. I can sync for you if you want me to just send me info on song, and send the clips or clip.
