You have too much smudging, this way the signature seems really plain. Like look on the smudged parts, there's nothing on them :O

This is what a pro gfxer said about this sig

Nice BG and the focal is good, but the smudging is toooo smooth. Try using a larger range of shades in your smudging to give it some depth. It could also use more colors. I would also remove the clipping makes. They stand out way too much on that smooth texture.
