IT LAGS SOOOO BAD. but even when i do the lowest quality. it will only record for 5 minutes before it lags horribly. i Cleared out my whole computer. It doesnt fix anything. Please help

What do you use to record? The instant dvd recorder or pinnacle studio?

Pinnacle.....

Hmm try pressing ctrl+alt+delete then open task manager click process locate the one saying something like pinnacle or something among those lines. Right click it and press set priority and set it to real time.
