Well, overall it's just way too much of not enough.

It's great that you're nor just using premade backgrounds and renders, actually using filters and such to make a background, but in this case it's literally _just_ a filter for a background, a render plopped on top, and text. You really want to be incorporating more.

Check out some tutorials on DeviantArt, it'll help you out a lot in learning new things.

This is probably the most important tutorial that has ever been made about sig making:
You must login or register to view this content.

And then you can use this link for a whole lot of them (and use the search bar to narrow down what type of sigs you want to get tutorials for):
You must login or register to view this content.

Also, there's really no reason to have the thread closed. I understand that you expected different responses to the sig than what you got, but that's all part of the learning process. We all go through it. =)

The following user thanked RS*_Depression for this useful post:

I'm actually really liking both of them, and I'll tell you why:

The first one has good color diversity - the purples, yellows and reds work well together. The effects vary over the course of the tag, so it doesn't all look like it's part of one big blob of a background. I don't care for the text, but its placement is good (it fills up the empty part of the tag).

The second one uses motion blur well, and the effects make sense (in the first one, they really didn't but that's fine). The colors aren't as great, I wish there was some more diversity (some soft blues or even a more red color would be good) though... Again I don't really care for the text, but it's fine, you'll learn how to place it better with time.

Both of these are SIGNIFICANTLY better than the one you originally had in this thread, I'm impressed.
