It's just a matter of the integrity of the online community. Legally, and technically, there's nothing saying you can't use someone else's art. But in the same way that you don't want someone ripping your tag, making little or no change to it, and claiming it as their own, so do others want to keep their art their own.

I'm not going to lie, you did a lot more to this piece of art than most rippers do, but it's still something you should avoid.

As for the "haven't we all used someone's art" comment, let me say this. Yes, we've all used other peoples' art. Sometimes it's on accident, and sometimes it's on purpose, but as you get better and more skilled, and have a better understanding of what your art means to you and other peoples' art means to them, you'll make that mistake less and less. Stick to stock packs, or the Resources section on DA from now on.

I don't want you to take it down, I just wanted to know why you chose to use that instead of a free-to-use stock.

Thanks for the input, im glad ive taken it down, i shouldn't of done it and it was wrong, im sure if i had put myself in the artists position i would be annoyed too. Are we cool? I done the wrong thing and i for sure in the future will not do it again.
