You need better lighting, you have the basics of it down (e.g. you have it dark on the left and bright on the right) but you need a proper light source. The background is very basic too. I like how it looks like the render made a dust cloud. The depth is the best aspect of this but it could still be improved with more detailed sharpening and blurring :y:

yeah, could you roughly explain the lighting, i went to filter > rendering > lighting thingy and placed the light , but not totally sure :/

Yeah that's very basic. Another step up would be to use a big soft white brush and click in the corner, then use the burn and dodge tools to make it look better.

i tried that technique on this one, took 45 mins or so

The lighting is better in that but the text and background aren't great. Keep looking at tutorials :y:

Work on the flow and and the blending im woepert from rd btw =D

yeah, sig wasnt really made to represent flow, its kinda making smoke nd stuff, i dunno but iv tried to add flow and it didnt look right xD

Scanlines are a big no no btw.
If you don't know what I mean by scanlines I am referring too those diagnal grey lines that streak across your background.
